... for future reference: It really isn't a good idea to try and eat just after you've had a filling and half your mouth is numb.

Edit: Especially do not try drinking!

Hope you're all well,

Once again I walked out of the Emirates Stadium with one set of fans acting like they'd won and the other feeling like they'd lost, but this time it wasn't a win-lose situation, we drew, but boy, did it feel like we lost. 2-1 up with 2 minutes to go, and then... I don't know, it was a horrible feeling. In two consecutive seasons they have scored last minute goals against us.. it really isn't a good feeling. Ah well, hopefully it'll be payback time at Old Trafford, though it was good when Ronaldo scored and he came over to the away fans, and I was stood on a chair in the second row, and he looked me right in the eye when he put his fist in the air. For some reason it made me feel giddy, even though I don't think he's hot like quite a few girl 'football fans' but hey ho, it's a nice memory, even though it was ruined 8 minutes later!

I'm actually sat on my arse at the moment watching reruns of Keeping Up Appearances, being all poorly. I should actually be working on the many essays that I've got to do but my head is all stuffy at the moment. Hence, why I'm watching the crappy reruns.

Hope you're all well and not caught the winter colds!

BOO!! Okay, so I'm a day late. Can't believe I haven't updated this thing for 2 months, and I'm not really updating it now, will do later when I can be bothered, thought I'd just say 'hi'. I'm actually on ebay at the moment trying to win the bid for a new sky + box. Ours is broken, and I've got about 8 episodes of Neighbours on it that I didn't get round to watching 'cries', plus it's mucked up my routine of falling asleep in bed while the tv is on. I've become that much use to doing that, that I really struggle to fall asleep now. It's not good, and it's really annoying that I can't tape anything. Just thought I'd share that random bit of info with you *goes back to ebay*

Hope you're all well,

xx

Last season when I was walking out of the City of Manchester stadium I was thinking we're going to win the league, this season I'm thinking are we even going to stay in this league. We dominated the game and then City scored, and just like at Portsmouth, we went into panic mode. So many missed chances again. It just really wasn't good to hear the City fans chanting 'going down' at you.

If I had to pick one word to describe Sunday's match than it would be frustrating. To be honest, I kinda was expecting a draw, though, of course, hoping it wouldn't be. Reading, to me, seems to be one of those teams we can't easily win against, as I saw last season, but my God, the chances we had, it was unbelievable, but Reading's defence was just too great and we couldn't break through the barrier. A draw and Rooney fracturing his foot, it's not the best start to the season, but it's still early days.

As for me, I have now been off uni for two and a half months and I don't think I've ever been so bored in my life. I thought four months off would be great but how wrong was I. I was planning on spending the summer catching up on all the dvd's (and just lazing about) that I'd bought but haven't yet got round to watching, but no, it seems I have a concentration problem when it comes to watching tv these days, which does suck. Actually, I think I have a concentration problem with everything now. Anyway, I've found a new tv series to look forward to watching every week though, in lieu of the dvd's; I'm addicted to Heroes, it's a very cool programme.

Other than that, I have nothing else to report.

Hope you're all well,

xx

Just received my first year uni results and I got a 2.1. I'm absolutely buzzing! Anyway, I'm going to go and calm down and then start reading Harry Potter!

So, I sat my last uni exam on the 24th May and they told me they would post the results by the end of June/beginning of July, the postman has been and gone again, and still no results. I am getting seriously annoyed now. I know people who finished their exams 3 weeks after me and got their results weeks ago. Why does my uni have to be so crap!? Let's just hope the third years have received theirs, considering they graduated two days ago [/Rant Over]

Anyway, welcome to my new live journal. I will try to post more regularly :-)

Hope you're all well

xx
